A few weeks working with David contributed to a qualitative shift in my ability to work through longstanding blocks including childhood trauma and related family conflict. His sensitive manner and gentle prompting created for me a safe space where I could open up about stories I’ve seldom shared while seeing them in new lights. David helped me develop insights into my personal history and, equally important, new tools to draw on when weighing options and finding positive ways forward.

David has held space for a more liberated life to take place/shape for me by sharing light and hope that his own path which supports self empowerment and sovereignity. David had made an effort in my opinion to co-create enough safety and trust/rapport so that deeper healing can begin.
He has encouraged my wellness unconditionally through the ups and downs and around and arounds of this healing journey. He has been helpful to talk with about grief/loss..successes and failure…sabotoging tendencies without adding further shame or judgement

David brings and allows creativity and spontanaeity to the sessions which to me means he is sharing his vulnerable side yet in a professional way that focuses on the clients needs during the session. This helps me feel less alone and isolated in my challenges bringing color and light into some wounds where there has only been darkness/void/emptiness/disconnection
He has maintained a steady conistently caring presence in our sessions together and has offered enthusiasm and encouragement for my journey and has not abused his position of power thus far which has been instrumental in my movement towards wholeness and healing/self love.

David seems to be understanding of real life challenges and for this reason I am able to feel safe from judgement and bring honesty to the sessions – what I truly am challenged with as it relates to the practical side of life and the mundane everyday internal and external struggles (he is relatable).
David puts an emphasis on caring (bringing caring awareness to the diffrent aspects of the self). He makes room for what is and doesn’t use force as a strategy. Powerful yet gentle, progressive yet tender as it relates to moving forward from the debiliating effects of childhood trauma.

David has demonstrated that it is not ignorant to the reality that many people choose to buck mainstream reality and proactively engage in “alternative lifestyles that encourage new thought”..(alternative healing) etc which has been very important for me in finding a good match for my current and complex needs which are shifting moment to moment

David has:
* helped me establish some inner external stability by making a spot for me same time every week
* allowed me to write between sessions as things therapy related arise for example…suicidal ideation…and sensitive sharing of information as it relates to our therapeutic connection as professional caregiver/client
* encouraged risk taking in terms of sharing deeply what is actually happening for me vs. what should be happening for me by now.
* demonstrated healthy boundaries by his example of self care and by being what I could only articulate as professional and clean boundaries (which I need in order to heal properly) and to release shame that has previously binded me
* in my experience shared a homophobia/transphobia free office based in nature in which clients can come to do/attempt this very challenging and complex work.

David has shared a teaching style of therapy where he has shared with me in a way that leads me to learn for myself…specifically learning how to say no (developing boundaries) learning what a boundary is and how to set one. Socratic method/style of teaching is how I experience David as a guide/co-pilot/mentor..perhaps leadership style
